During the call we can:
• Talk through the specifics of the situation (100 % confidential — HIPAA-protected, no names required)
• Clarify whether this is a repentance/disciplinary issue, a mental health crisis, or both
• Decide the best next step: therapy referral, safety planning, spouse support, marriage work, or something else
• Identify if I already have an opening that fits their schedule and insurance/private-pay situation
• Discuss how to present professional help to the member without making them feel “sent away” or broken
